People down here really think Bettman is on our team, and he will do everything in his power to prevent them from leaving. But, as you said, um hello, its still a business. Anyone whos taken first grade math can tell you that losing 30 million bucks a year is bad business. And i also dispise the 'Let's watch the Olympics because its the Olympics and cheer for our country!!' attitude. I'm so ready to be back sitting 7 rows from the glass cheering for a team i really do care about, even if its not as much as the Wings, Leafs, Flyers or Flames... We Americans can relate. We treat athletes the same way here with the exception of hockey, tennis, soccer players. The NFL NBA MLB players are treated like kings as early as high school and can do no wrong. What you were drunk and high and ran over someone and killed them, 30 days in jail for ya. They get babied in high school they get what ever they want in college and get to be above the law in the pros. It's the same here, unfortunetly not so much for the hockey player here.
